What is Google Daily Listen?
Google is launching a new Search Labs experiment called Daily Listen, providing a brief, personalized podcasts overview of topics and stories based on your search terms or keywords.
This feature, available in the Google app for Android and iOS. It simply serves as an audio version of your Google Discover feed, summarizing material in under five minutes.
Daily Listen uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to provide audio summaries based on your past activity in the Google search.
These brief episodes display on the Google app’s home screen, titled “Made for you,” and include links to related articles for deeper exploration.
Daily Listen is working based on Google Discover and is tailored to the themes you follow in the app, resulting in a more personalized experience.

What are the features of daily listen?
The feature supports basic audio controls, such as play, pause, rewind (10 seconds), and navigation between audio summaries. While listening, users can simultaneously navigate related articles, and the audio can be paused anytime.
Text versions of the summaries appear at the top of the screen, with a note stating, “Generative AI is experimental,” allowing viewers to submit feedback.
Is this feature available globally?
Its currently only available to Android and iOS users in the United States. Those who have enrolled may have to wait up to a day before the feature becomes operational.
